Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1 Chandigarh to Shimla (Approx. 3-4 hrs drive)

  Arrive at Chandigarh (Airport/Railway Station/Bus Stand) and drive to Shimla, the Queen of Hills. Check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Mall Road and The Ridge for a leisurely walk, enjoying the colonial architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

• Day : 2  Shimla - Kufri - Shimla

  Full-day excursion to Kufri. Enjoy activities like pony rides, yak rides, and visit the Himalayan Nature Park. On the way back, visit Green Valley and Fagu. Later, visit the Jakhoo Temple (by walk or ropeway) for a panoramic view of Shimla.

• Day : 3 Shimla to Manali (Approx. 7-8 hrs drive)

  Check out and drive to Manali. This is a scenic drive passing through Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, and the famous Kullu Valley. You can stop at Kullu for river rafting (optional/seasonal) or visit a local Shawl Factory. Arrive in Manali and check in.

• Day : 4 Manali - Solang Valley / Rohtang Pass Area

  Morning excursion to Solang Valley for adventure activities like Paragliding, Zorbing, and more (depending on weather/season). Alternatively, you can visit Atal Tunnel and Sissu Village (subject to road conditions). (Note: Visit to Rohtang Pass requires a special permit and is often not included or available)

• Day : 5 Manali Local Sightseeing

  Explore the local attractions of Manali: Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple (in Old Manali), Vashisht Village (known for its hot water springs and temples), Tibetan Monastery, and The Mall Road for shopping.

• Day : 6 Manali to Dharamshala / Mcleodganj (Approx. 7-8 hrs drive)

  Check out and drive to Dharamshala/Mcleodganj (often called 'Little Tibet'). Check into your hotel. If time permits, you can visit the local market of Mcleodganj.

• Day : 7 Dharamshala / Mcleodganj Sightseeing & Drive to Dalhousie

  Morning sightseeing in Mcleodganj: visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex (Dalai Lama Temple), Bhagsunag Temple & Waterfall, and St. John in the Wilderness Church. In the afternoon, drive to Dalhousie (Approx. 4-5 hrs drive). Check into your hotel.

• Day : 8 Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie

  Full-day excursion to Khajjiar, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India," known for its beautiful grassy meadow and the floating island in the lake. Also, visit Khajjiar Lake and Khajji Nag Temple. You can also visit Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary and Panchpula in Dalhousie.

• Day : 9 Dalhousie to Chandigarh (Approx. 7-9 hrs drive) 

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive back to Chandigarh for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of your Himachal tour.
